EmpowHERto is a youth-focused nonprofit on a mission to support young women of color through opportunities that provide them with knowledge and a network to redefine power and transform their lives beyond systemic inequities.
Holistic support, real-world skills and the audacity to build your own path can all be found at EmpowHERto.
We are reimagining what it means to educate the next generation through real-world skills, representation, and holistic support that reflects who they are and where they are from.

At EmpowHERto we don’t just believe in potential, we invest in it. We center culture. We build futures and we’re creating a world where young women don’t just dream, they lead.
EmpowHERto recognizes that people require different levels of support and that every person has unique needs and aspirations. That’s why we offer a wide range of programs and wellness services for any girl who needs them.
EmpowHERto emphasizes a hands-on approach, which is why we provide practical workshops that focus on employable skills to put on your resume and feel confident in whatever field you choose.
EmpowHERto’s programs are based on the world we see around us; that means they are designed to be used in the current landscape and are curated to help you meet your goals.
EmpowHERto believes that young women of colour deserve to take up space, whether that’s within the workplace, social media, and in their communities.
EmpowHERto helps young girls build the confidence to showcase their ideas and have the courage to share them with their peers and their community.
Every dollar invested and every hour volunteered helps us create safe, bold spaces for young women of color to learn, lead, and thrive. Here’s a snapshot of the impact our community has made possible.
